Vriksh means “Tree”. This Asana shaped like trees. Hence its name Vrikshasana
(tree pose).
How to do
Vrikshasana (Tree pose) step by step
1 .Stand straight
2. Bend the
left leg and place the sole on the inside of the right leg.
3. Adjust the
heel of the left leg foot so that It is close the root of the right thigh.
4. Maintain
balance and slowly raise both hands above the head and form a salutation (Namaskar mudra).
5. Look
straight ahead in front of you , at a distant object.
6. Slowly bring
down your hands . Repeat this pose with the right leg off the ground on the
left thigh.
